I chose to 'Jack' vicki. Her lovely LO gave me the idea to scrap a photo of my son taken on his first day at high school last year.  I had been sitting on it for a year LOL not quite knowing how I wanted to scrap it.

Kaisercraft - Saturday Sketch No 3* - March

My LO is based on Kaisercraft's Saturday Sketch No 3*,

The sketch inspired me to scrap a picture of my dad when he first arrived in Australia back in 1956.
It shows him standing on a wharf, presumably Melbourne looking forward to living in a new country.

I mainly used Kaisercraft's 'Le Chateau' PP and rub-on's, a little from the 'Up and Away' collection and Kaiser's wood florishes, ribbon, doilie's and pearls.

I have not scrapped much lately so decided to use Kaisercraft's Saturday Sketch for some inspiration.

The sketch inspired me to scrap some photos of my 17year old son with our big "teddy bear" of a horse, Razzaq.  Razzaq adores my son and enjoys every opportunity for a cuddle LOL.  Even though my son won't admit it, he loves it too!!!!!

I used Kaisercrafts 'Jungle Bug' collection which suited the photos well.

The pics are of my late mothers sewing machine which I inherited when she passed away.
It holds lovely memories for me as I used to play/sew Barbie doll clothes on it when I was young.
Its not in working order now, but thats OK as I detest sewing LOL.

I've been creating madly this weekend, my mojo and enthusiasm is back LOL.

The photo was taken on a recent trip to Hattah-Kulkyne National Park about 40mins drive from Mildura.
Hattah Lakes had been dry for some time because of the drought, so it was great to see them full again after all the rain of recent times.

I found inspiration from DT, Julie's LO.  I really loved the colours and the beautiful flower embellishment.
This inspired me to create a LO with a photo of my late mother in her front garden.

I've finally made a Blogg!!!!

Hi everyone, I have finally done it!!!  I have made a blog woo hoo!!!!

Certainly a big challenge for me as I had no idea what to do, but I have managed to set this up, so here's hoping I will get the hang of posting etc.  LOL.
